I consider myself a writer, an aspiring author, etc, but I can NOT write a single story from start to finish... I can outline a plot, write a few detailed scenes, and then I lose it... I end up getting almost a dozen chapters into a piece and losing track of it so badly that I have to scrap it because it has no direction and the characters are different completely people than they were when I started.
What are some techniques to do better? My writing sucks horrifically because I'm so ADHD with it... I don't know how to FIX it. :'(
