My daughter is 15 1/2 months old. She goes to the bathroom with me all the time. Unless she isn't home, I never go without her honestly. She will rip off some toilet paper and hand it to me and/or point and show me what to do with it. This weekend my son went to the bathroom and my daughter went with him and she lifted her dress and walked up to the toilet and acted like peed like him standing up LOL. My MIL already has her potty chair set up at her house because she found it and cleaned it up and put it in her bathroom. She saw Jaden sitting on the toilet and wanted to sit on her potty at my MIL's house yesterday. I let her sit on the potty and then when Jaden was done, she wanted to sit on the big toilet. I let her sit there and was so happy. She wanted me to wipe her and everything. I KNOW she is young, and I am NOT trying to potty train her. But would letting her sit on the potty when she wants to going to cause problems later? I don't want her to hate the potty later. But, if she wants to sit on the potty while I am using the bathroom, will it be helpful at all? Let me repeat-I am NOT trying to potty train her. I was just wondering if introducing the potty this early will cause "potty hate" later...
