Miroslav Klose further proved his rebirth since his move from Bayern Munich to Lazio over the summer with his injury time winner against Roma on Sunday. It was his fourth goal of the Serie A season (he had two in 45 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern over the previous two seasons) and will likely be one of the biggest the 33-year-old scores in a Lazio shirt.

After slotting it in, Klose was surrounded by just about everyone from Lazio's side of the fierce rivalry, including manager Edy Reja. Meanwhile, Roma's Pablo Osvaldo was probably thinking he jinxed the match for his club early in the match...

After scoring in just the fifth minute to give Roma a 1-0 lead, Osvaldo was booked for pulling back his shirt to reveal an undershirt that read "Vi ho purgato anch'io!" (translation: "I've purged you too!") a prematurely confident reference to injured captain Francesco Totti's celebratory "Vi ho purgato ancora!" ("I've purged you again!") shirt after scoring late in Roma's second Derby della Capitale win of the 1998/99 season.

That might have been a topic of conversation at halftime for Lazio, because they mounted their comeback after the break, first scoring with a Hernanes penalty moments after Simon Kjaer was sent off in the 50th minute. And that's why you don't start with the boasting t-shirts in the fifth minute.
