According to the Tom’s Hardware team, the Gaming PC build listed below—budgeted $1,300—represents the most value for your money, out of three builds tested last December 2009. The budgets for the other two builds were $700 and $2,500 respectively. Obviously anything cheaper than a $2,500+ system is a better use of cash by default. Yet the $700 build fails to measure up to its $1,300 counterpart, being “slower in daily use” and featuring a graphics setup no longer widely available on the market.
