Hi, am getting really frustrated with my DivX converter voice sync problem?

I have bought the DivX Bundle 6.6 (Registered), the problem is that when i tries to convert my DVD's into DivX (which takes forever), the resulting converted movie has a audio sync problem meaning that you hear the voice first and then on the images you see the talkings afterwards, about 1 - 3 seconds difference and this is really irritating.
My PC specs are: Intel Core2Duo 2.2Ghz
1 GB RAM DDRII 800MHz
GeForce 8600GT 512 MB
so wat's the problem? Plz help am getting really annoyed with this. If you are using a software without issues let me know its name or tell me how to solve that issue. thx in advance.
