Hi will my PS3 will it damage my 50" LG HDTV/Plasma 1080P 600Hz?

Hi I am very addicted on my new 50" LG HDTV/Plasma 1080P 600Hz. I love it so much that I give away my 1 day shift to enjoy my new HDTV. Anyway I am kind of worry about my HDTV Plasma because is Plasma & the Bestbuy seller he told me that gaming will not effect or damage to my Plasma. Is that true? Thanks!
 
No it won't damage it as long as you don't leave any still images sit for a while. For example even watching regular TV it could result in burnt in images. Like at work we have one and its constantly on ESPN News and the ESPN logo is burnt in for staying on the station for hours at a time. Happy Gaming!

E: its only 60Hz BTW 600 Hz would be 600 FPS. There is no such thing. I believe 250 Hz is the max right now.
