highspeed internet for rural areas?

how long will internet companies make us people in the rural areas wait to get high speed internet instead of dial-up and Satellite im talking about cable dsl and wireless whats the dill.
 
we have the same problem where we live in the RR area we are on the 13th conc and rogers stopped its cable on the 12 conc. do not think rogers really care they are making enough money it really effects people who run there business or work from home
