Holland America or Princess Cruises in the summer?

Im turning 16 next fall, and instead of a party I want to go on a cruise to either Australia/New Zealand or Hawaii the summer before. The only problem neither of these cruise lines had dates to go to those places in the summer and I cant miss that much school... Do they have any cruises at all in the summer?
 
I would have thought you would be happier on a Carnival ship which is more suited to your age group and type of activities on board.
