When I setup my home network between my 2 computers so I can enable my laptop to wirelessly connect to the net thru my router, I obviously did something wrong. When I now click on the My Network Places icon on my desktop, instead of Microsoft network to be the only protocol to be displayed on the screen. I have two others installed as well. How do I remove them so my desktop and laptop will be able to read each others files using a wireless connection?

thanks but I already added encryption to my wireless network. I have a strong WEP key. A friend of mine who is a computer expert told me to use a WEP key and not WPA. Since WEP is more secure.
