ok, about 30 something years ago my mum bought a BEAUTIFUL chestnut from some guy for under $200
He was stunning,amazing gaits,10yr old+so responsive.
To the point, mum didnt even need a halter coz when she called him he came to her+even followed her -i remember a story where she was walking to the park to ride him and she would just walk along the sidewalk+he put his head over her shoulder and followed.. no halter needed.ANYWAY.
my question is, is there such thing as finding a horse with similar qualities under $1000 these days.coz I can tell you that horse was worth OVER $1000 2 be honest.
and i dont even think the previous owner needed to sell him fast. I am getting a horse soon, and was talking to mum about prices... and here i am saying i need at least $1000+ for a horse (that isnt green,too young,some experience etc)
+then i was adding up over $1000 for all its equipment. But she said i dont need that much. but its not like it was back then-now. how do i make her realise??
