Here's the situation; We were renting a large house by ourselves. We had a King Shepherd mix and we got a German Shepherd puppy last summer. The King Shepherd mix died in September so we still had the puppy. We decided to let someone move in the house with us to help us pay rent. THEY were renting from US, not the landlord. We were renting the house, then let them rent a room from US. They knew when they moved in that we had a young puppy. Recently the guy (it's a couple) has just been really, really bitchy about anything the puppy does. She's now 9months old and out of the annoying, loudmouth, accidents stage. She sleeps through the night and very rarely has an accident. But this guy! He complains when I play with her in the living room in the afternoon, complains when she chews her bone on the floor in MY bedroom, complains when she whines to go out to the bathroom. Constantly! He said he's moving out but hasn't yet. I don't understand why he keeps complaining about her if he's moving out! If he's moving out, he doesn't really have the right to complain about her anymore, right? Is there something I can do to make him stop complaining? ALL the dog has done is literally play with me, chew quietly on her bone, or whine to go out to the bathroom. We're in the dead of a Canadian winter right now... -10 is WARM. I don't have gloves or waterproof boots. The backyard is all ice. I can't play with her outside because, not only would I freeze to death, but I'd slip and kill myself on the ice. Nevermind her, poor thing. She has no trouble walking on the ice but can't run or jump without slipping and falling. She's half Alaskan Malamute, though, so the cold doesn't bother her.
