My fiance is deployed and will soon be coming back home he would like for me to get a phone for him before he gets back. It would have to be under my name but I dont have any built credit or any credit cards so would they allow me to get a contract that way? How are the sidekick plans? and how would I go about adding another line?

any help would be great!

ask them about flex pay it give you a couple of options you can get what is like a plan but not the long term obligation and it is not a credit check with it you have to pay for the phone but you can get sidekicks and all the phones with it.

I just switched over to T-Mobile. I'm not sure about the credit check part since the contract isn't in my name, but they've got really cheap plans and good phones. I think instead of a Sidekick you should look into a Samsung Gravity. They're a lot cheaper and still have the slide out keyboard. To add another line, you would just call, go into the store, or do it online. If you add it online it costs less, but if you go to a store you can have a T-Mobile representative explain everything you right there. Overall, T-Mobile is a pretty good choice.
Good luck in whatever you choose!
