I know that in order for people to dive the near two mile distance to Titanic, a special, high-pressure submarine is required. Since that is the case, what do they use to recover items like plates and jewelry from the ocean floor? What about the large 17 ton section of hull that they recovered a few years back? How do they bring up something of that weight from a depth of such magnitude?
