it is not confirmed that the xbox is getting blu-ray this is just a rumor. Also sony owns blu-ray but doesnt control the licensing options. This means that companys like samusng can make blu-ray drives if they pay sony a certain amount. So Microsoft could just license blu-ray and but it in the xbox no problem
360 can get bluray because sony does not own it dont u see other companies with bluray etc. panosonic so 360 can get it but it will eventually end up costing more than the ps3 afterwards
