2 Thessalonians 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

the rapture is the very last thing to happen, still lots of hell on earth to come first

The next not the last! This has already occurred ,"there come a falling away first".Haven't you heard of all those ministers who are preaching the "once saved always saved heresy"? :stop glass:It is now looking good for the False Prophet to be elected even next week. Then all we need to wait for is for "man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition".All that will take is for a change of leadership at the United Nations.:moonie:

Popular Christian culture.
There much more to come.

Sorry to burst your bubble Carrie but read Revelation 20:7-9> Illuminator is correct.

@LadyMarrissaa: where, do tell, where does it say that in the Bible?

idk. some christians believe the rapture will come first above all else. actually in fact the bible speaks NOTHING of the sort. in fact it says "at the sound of the last trumpet." people believe the rapture is first because thats what they are told. they are told what the verses mean without any research of their own. "why would God put his children through all that?" very easy. just like he did all those other times? most christians are mindless drones who never read the bible and only believe what they are told in church.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the rapture theory started in 1830 by a retired sea captain Nelson Darby. It is inconsistent with all Christian teaching of all denominations before that year, because the theory did not exist. People want a consistent, secure foundation to build their faith on, not wishy washy pop-theology that changes every 10 years.
