How can everyday gadgets be recycled?

For my d.t homework, i have to find out how everyday gadgets can be recycled, or disposed of.
Please tell me ways in which to do so.
(please dont say: google it, throw them in the bin etc.)
 
bestbuy takes a lot of electronics now, and most cities have recycling programs for the various things you mentioned. You have to be careful though, some of them send your electronics to third world countries where kids gather the wires and then burn the coating off the get the copper, or other filthy practices
 
Much of that would depend on where you live.

In my county, our landfill(dump) has recycle areas. Chemicals go to one section, electronics goes to another.

The town I live in sponsors recycle days where a truck comes and we can take old computers and TVs to be recycled.

Also in my area are several for profit companies that recycle electronics.

Check with your local government. I'm sure they have a web site.
