so apparently android released the update of android 2.2 froyo for the vbrant on the 21 of january this year 2011 and it was uniquely released online and not over the air like usual and it had to be downloaded and installed in a certain way using Samsung Kies with step by step instructions. i followed all the instructions and went one at a time and didnt rush my self. everything seemed fine until the last couple of seconds of the upgrade. on the final bar of updating when my phone was hooked up and recieving the update, it said update failed and provided instructions on what to do. the first thing it said was to remove the battery and when i did.....my phone became bricked it hink and i hoped not
the only thing that pops up on the screen all the time is a pircture of a cell phone with two dots to the right, a orange triangle warning sign, another two dots and finally a picture of a desktop computer
now i know the way to reboot it is to shut the phone off and turn it back on holding the volume up and down keys in order to switch into the recovery mode however if i shut off the phone and try it, i get no time because if the battery is in, when i shut the phone off, it turns on to the same screen in like 2 seconds and when inn take out the battery and try the reboot, nothing works and i still get the same screen
please does anyone know what i can do to solve this problem other than calling any type of customer service cause i already tired that
also i cant even try that emergency recovery from samsung kies......so PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
