I want to get stream files such as .mp3 and video files from my pc to my psp I have a wireless network wich my psp and pc are connected to.I do not want the files to go through the internet then to my pspI just want to do it like you do on the psp file sharing you know what i mean....If it has to go through the internet then thats okay but if it just went though the network it would stream super-fast so thats why i want it to do it like that.I HAVE A PSP SLIM WITH THE LATEST CUSTOM FIRMWARE!

you could setup a http server on your pc. you would have to open up command prompt & type in ipconfig to get your LAN ip of your pc. then you would put that number in your psp's web browser. it will be like http://192.168.1.2go to http://apache.org for the http server

The only way to hook up your PSP to your network or to the internet is through a wireless router. The PSP supports wireless network via 802.1x wireless protocols. You would need to purchase a wireless router from Linksys, Apple Airport, Netgear, etc. Review the documentation that came with your PSP on how to connect it to your wireless router and network.

yes it can be done both ways.the only program name i remember that allows you to stream through the internet is pimpstreamer, but i am positive there is a program that allows you to just stream through the network. you do not need custom firmware for it, you just have to set up your pc as a home server.the last time i looked up pimpstreamer i was on a fat psp and i havent bothered to look for it for the slim.
