How can i be smart to save money for trip to Australia?

Is that good idea if i can exchange my canadian dollers into Australian money as saving? but how i can save them if my bank don't accept international money?

That's why i had hard time to save money over my foods, home, and stuff. I really want go trip to Australia so bad :(
