How can I block a specific unknown caller on a T-Mobile cell phone?

We are constantly being called by an 'Unknown Number', nearly 5 times a day, and every time we pick up the cell phone they hang up. This has been going on for a bit less than a week and we're getting frustrated.
We have people we known who also have 'Unknown Number', but we don't want to block them too.
Also, is there a way to find out who is calling? We think we known some people who might, but we're unsure.
 
The only thing you can do is get a new number.
It's a pain and it costs 15 bucks but Tmobile doesn't even let you block numbers you DO know so there's no way you could get this one blocked.
