...[Davidson Fellows]? I'm applying this year to become a Davidson Fellow (& a chance to win at least $10,000 for college) in the area of vocal music. So every Davidson Fellow musician came up with a unique project. For example, one girl decided to expose more people to opera, another guy wanted ppl to become open to classical music and composers like Bach & Beethoven.
But what should my project portfolio include? I want it to be unique. Should I just make it about community service & sing to the elderly at a nursing home? Should I just sing to random audiences and say I want to expose more people to R&B and soul? (I'm African-American) Any suggestions?
