I want to connect the blu ray player to the existing receiver because I don't have an HDTV yet so I don't mind not having 1080p picture. I looked into similar questions and the answer I kept seeing was to purchase an optical audio cable to connect the blu ray player to the receiver, but that doesn't seem to work. I was hoping somebody else has faced a similar situation and can walk me through the setup.</p></blockquote><p></p>
