There's this beautiful, tiered, strapless dress that I fell in love with from the moment I laid eyes on it.
The only problem? It's yellow. Not sunshine yellow, either. Dingy yellow. Almost off-white.
Not to say that it's a color nobody could agree with - it looks okay on my sister, for the most part.
Still, there's this concert coming up, so I'd like to dye it black.
I bought it at a thrift store though, so I have no idea what kind of fabric it is. Is there any way to sidestep this? If I do decide to dye it, what precautions ought I take?
Same goes for cleaning, really. I haven't touched it much because it DOES need a wash, and I don't know if it's dry-clean only or what.
