Many moons ago, my mom received a copy of a family tree from a man in NYC, claiming to be a relative of ours. He was, we determined, fairly wealthy and had his family tree completed all the way back to the 16th century at that point. He stated that he sent this copy to everyone on the tree that he could find.
Evidently, our connection to him was through my great-great grandmother (?), Tennesee Virginia Hanks, close relative of Nancy Hanks. Is anyone out there who has this name on their tree or can find anything out about it? Please let me know in your answer if you need further information.
