How can I get a GBA emulater for my mac?

I love pokemon and I really want to start playing on the computer, some of the older games. But first I want some background on what an emulater is, if it has viruses, and if its really a good thing to get. I already know its illegal. I don't really care hahah

nosgba emulator search it and download. or you can get a visualboy advance which plays gba games and gameboy games.

an emulator is a applicaiton that runs games that you put on there. To get these games go to romulation and download. no viruses ever there and perfect quality.
