how can i get mobile i.m on my blackberry pearl?

idk i have a good phone the LG Rumor not a blackberry i used 2 though and i used 2 have an iPhone and i hated both of them

Did you purchase the Blackberry plan? I think it is $20 a month....you need this to use any IM client.

If you did then your Blackberry Pearl should have an icon already on it out of the box to download the software needed to get mobile IM. The icon looks like a conversation bubble and has "IM" in it. Click on the icon and it tell you how to download it and get it set up. When it is all loaded you can go to that icon again and you will see 4 boxes, AOL IM, ICQ, MSN, and Yahoo.

I just got a Blackberry Pearl and LOVE IT!!!! Hope this helps and enjoy your Blackberry!!!!
