I have a 14 year old weiner dog. We recently in the last 3 years started to take her on hikes. After that, we noticed that she howls and cries non stop whenever we leave. Her hearing is very bad. She has trouble seeing. Her since of smell works great though. Whenever I leave the room witout her knowing, she'll sniff the floor until she finds me. We recently moved into a apartment and now the neighbors are complaining that she is howling and crying all the time. I try to take her everywhere with me, but there is some places that I can't take her. I don't like leaving her locked in the car with the windows cracked. I've tried to leave and listen outside the front door until I hear her starting to cry. I'll go back in and smack her with the newspaper, but she doesn't care and will start up once again after I leave. Please HELP! J. Luna
