I am running on Windows Vista on a Sony VAIO laptop. Someone referred me to go the the "device manager" to check out what was wrong with my DVD/CD-ROM. It turns out I have an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560 ATA Device and it has that little triangle that is yellow with a black excalmation point inside of it. I clicked on it and it said it was a Code 39 as followed:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

What can I do to get this to work again? Please make it as simple as possible. I'm not that dandy with computers but I do understand.
