How can I get my LG Xenon out of Emergency Only?

I just noticed that LG Xenon has gone into Emergency Only mode. I haven't called 911 or anything. I looked up how to get it off of it on Google and it told me that I was either in a no-service zone (I do have service) or that I should turn my phone off, take the SIM card out and the battery and put it back in. I did that, and it was fine for maybe 2-3 minutes? After I turn it back on, it shows that I do not have service, but then two minutes later it goes back into emergency mode and I had full service.

Any ideas?
 
go to settings , and then more and then connection and then network selection and then manual and then click the second thing that comes up
