I just adopted a five-year-old Old English Sheepdog. She has been with us for two days, and still won't eat. I understand she may still be nervous and adjusting, but she weighs 114 pounds and has been exercised plenty- I would be starving!
She will eat biscuits and pieces of food if I put them on the floor, but not from the bowl. Then I wonder if she doesn't like the bowl, but she will drink from a similar water bowl. It's not the food, either, as she was fed the same food for days at the shelter.
Does anyone have any tricks or ideas as to how I can get her to eat??
Thanks!
