How can I handle a rumor being spread that is partly true?
I'm a sophomore (15) and I hooked up with this one guy last weekend apparently wasn't up to my standards look-wise. But he was really niec to me and I thought he was cute! I'd just met him that night and it happened in our limo for homecoming. I was kind of tired and probably wouldn't have done it had we been under different circumstances, but by no means do i regret it. He is a nice guy, I just wasn't fully into it. I was rebounding from a relationship and having fun. Anyways, the other people in the limo were kind of prudes and I heard that his friends called me a desperate whore behind my back. Now they are spreading it all around my PE class that we made out and being really immature about it yelling for the whole class to hear "SHE MADE OUT WITH ____!" (the guy that yelled it was from a guy who acted like a perv to me that i wouldn't make out with earlier on in the year). The rest, ___'s friends, are spreading it around quietly and giving me dirty looks. This guy I think is cute but haven't really talked to is in that class and I'm sure he's heard. How can I deal with this? Am I pretty much screwed? I thought he was cute but other people don't. That's what I meant by "wasn't up to my standards" I just realized I have a lot of gramtical/spelling errors. Sorry I was really eager for an answer lol. :)
