How can i keep my internet connection using vonage?

I keep losing my internet connection from time to time using the vonage system. What could be the source of the problem? How can i keep the connection without the problem to keep resetting and unplugging the vonage adapter?
 
Some ISP will cut you off if you are using too much bandwidth at a time where people need it most.
Check with your ISP, I doubt this is Vonage cutting you.

Vonage allows you to reduce the amount of bandwidth it uses. You can login into your vonage account and reduce the quality thus, reducing the amount of bandwidth.

Best is to not download programs or music or videos while using vonage.
