how can i put snes games on my psp?

i have an emulator on my psp and i have games on it. i want more games, but i don't know how to put them on there. i have tried to download them but they did not have the right file extension. my emulator requires smc files. i don't know how or where to get them or if i can convert other files......please help me.. i can get the files on the psp but i can't find or convert any of them to smc. my emulator is snes9xTYL
