How can I start eating healthier?

You could talk to your parents or perhaps a doctor about working out a healthier food plan. While it's true, most of us just eat crap simply for the sake of convenience(I'm every bit as guilty as you are),it doesn't mean the healthy choices can't be just as easy if not easier.

A few suggestions

Cut up pieces of fruit in a plastic container as a snack

Plain yogurt

Cubes of cheese with grain crackers

Cut up pieces of vegetables with dip

Trail mix or nuts and dried fruit

Granola cereal

Lean meat and/or fish

Multigrain bagels

Instead of pop, try various fruit juices, bottled water and iced green tea with lime juice.

If your parents are worried you may be too thin, you could tell them that you need to work on adding muscle to your frame not fat.
 
Basicly, I am stuck in a rut where all the food around me is junk. I'm 16, and get comments that I am too thin from my parents, and their response to my thinness is to cook me junk food and give me that for lunch in school.

I have money now that I can start buying my own lunch and I pretty much am wondering what should I buy? I haven't tried most fruit or veggies in my life so I don't really know : /
