OK, this question isn't as simple as it might sound. I have gone through all of DVD Player's and TV's Menus and there is no setting to help this. Instead of being widescreen, they are stretched vertically with black bars (like on wide screen) on the left and right side. I am getting these DivX movies via torrent download and was wondering how to stop this. Is there any setting to change before I burn them? Should I change the dimensions of the movie on the computer (if so, how?)? Is the program am using to burn the movies that is creating the problem? (The program is Windows' Default - Windows DVD/Movie Maker, and yes, am I hitting wide screen when I burn them). Any answers at all would be great!
