how can i stop my fish from eating my plecos algae wafers?

he manages to eat a little bit, but most of the time the other fish eat them all. i will drop about 2 in. 1 where the pleco is and one at the other side of the tank for the other fish, but they always go for both of them. and if my pleco is eating one, my mollies will bite him then he will go and hide.
i feed the other fish first with micropellets, but as soon as the algae wafers go in, they go after them
 
Maybe drop food in one side of tank, get the fish facing the other direction. Then try to place wafer in without making plop noise. You could call ask pet store, if it doesn't work. Maybe they have good ideas.
