how can i stop thinking about an upcoming interesting event?

i have got a really exciting event coming up... i will be seeing sum1 after a very long time and its kinda loy dovey thing...but i cant stop thinking about it...even when i m working...and its becoming abit of a problem now
how do i get it off my mind until the big day arrives??
please dont suggest "get bz" kind of thing...
i have already tried that

I got the same problem.I have a date planned with a very beautiful girl that I like a lot.I don't think there is a way I can stop thinking about it.I never been on a date so I'm also a bit nervous.
