How can I travel with only one bag?

Okay, well pretty soon I will be going on a trip to Georgia. Normally when I travel, I love to pack a lot, but now I only want to pack with one bag. Please give me tips and tricks on how I can pack light, but still back the amount of things that I need. Thank you for all who participate!
It will be a five day trip.
