How can I unlock my sony ericsson w995?

I have a phone lock on my mobile so when I switch it on i type the code then use it as normal. I just recently changed my code again but i've forgotten what it is. I've been told to send it for repair but I want to sort it out myself without having to give it to someone else and without having to pay. How? Thanks.
