criminal assault? It's a tort for sure, but while maybe not a felony, there is no reason that this wouldn't be a misdemeanor assault in North Carolina.

But liberals, give this theory a test. Go out in the street and grab the arm and neck of some college kid and see how long it takes you to get arrested.

Are liberals violent or just disingenuous?
EDIT: There is no gun at my breakfast table. It's on the Bible next to my bed stand.

And I use it for SELF DEFENSE, not suppressing the opinions of my liberal friends and neighbors...
EDIT: Not all lawyers are liberals...

In my state if you place your finger on somebodies shoulder and it is unwanted, that is a simple assault. What is being shown on you tube, again in my state, would be a class B misdemeanor and he would be on his way to jail.

It might be. Do you agree that the Arizona law violated the constitution of the US?

The same way conservatives can claim that a punk who refuses to identify himself or who he is affiliated with is a "journalist" or "interviewer."

The "assault" wasn't that severe, and there is also the mitigating circumstance that the congressman was being harassed.

Conservatives are the ones being disingenuous, intentionally distorting the severity of this altercation for political reasons, not justice ones.

It's not criminal assault when a Liberal does it. Only when a Conservative does it. At least that's what they think. I mean seriously. Any Congressman who is so sensitive that he loses his cool like that over a question, does not deserve to be a Congressman.

I'm surprised there aren't a ton of lawyers lining up to prosecute the guy.

Oh, that's right.....lawyers are liberals.
