How come we are one of the only races who can take the p*ss out of our selves and we are not insulted easily...why is this a part of our humour? For example, Americans are completely the opposite they get all upset and have a bible bash rage if you mention christianity in any bad way. They are all so patriotic and i always here them say 'America is the best country evaaaaaa' ( i bet i get a few examples in the answers when somebody says 'but it is the best country') Then you get Asians who if you mention anything about their families get a massive bi*ch fit. I know this because i live in Asia with a school full of every different race of Asians and plenty of times i've said a 'yo mama joke' and its gone the wrong way. Especially the Indians. This one guy kneed me in the balls because his driver picked him up and i asked him if it was his dad. (this was the sole reason he kneed me, nothing else) Anyway even on TV you get British comedy shows that show how stupid British people are and us taking the micky out of our selves. Then you watch an American show and you get a star spangled banner on every scene.
Do you think its because of the mixture of different cultures in our country? And we just aren't bothered anymore..?

(I've also noticed Australians are quite patriotic as well)
