How come Wiccans don't have a sense of humor (or suppress it)?

Are they required to sacrifice it when they join up or something... I mean come on ladies, lighten up.
@Xartus The ones who have my smart-a$$ questions deleted... EVERY TIME.
@Mike No, but I want to.
@ Solarius Sorry, I guess I just assumed.

You've never heard a Wiccan let loose a loud cackle?

Hmm. That's interesting. The Wiccans I know tend to be rather light-hearted and humorous. At interfaith meetings, they're often the life of the party, breaking up the starched-shirt dullness with laughter and interesting rituals. And why address it only to the "ladies", considering the number of male Wiccans out there?

They haven't been practicing very long or they aren't paying attention. Though I have noticed that Wicca seems to take itself a little more seriously than generic paganism. Kind of sad what even the rudiments of organization can do to a good idea.

I don't report questions unless they are out and out spam because that's just annoying.

I don't even give thumbs down unless someone does a long cut & paste post that is getting in my way of reading other people's actual thoughts.

I don't really care what other people think... if you say something that's actually funny, I'll laugh-- or even join in.

I'm not going to laugh if someone mocks me. Some jokes are not coming from a friendly or respectful place, no one should laugh at them. So maybe think about how you're coming off.
