BAsically, you're trying to turn it into a mini-RV. Sounds kinda neat. You might go look at some VW Vanagons that have camping stuff in them. Little sink, stove, heater, etc. Would get you some ideas. In fact, you might be able to take some of the VW stuff out and put into the Caravan, since the VW stuff is already made for such a small vehicle. But it'd also involve some free-styling installations. Might have to do some costly changes to the Caravan to get those things to work. But at least the VW stuff is ready-made for that kind of camping purpose. Friend of mine installed a huge dobule bed in his older 1976 VW Van. He installed a plywood bottom piece, supported by 2x4's in middle of van. He drives across country all time, and sleeps in that. It's hard in winter, because no heater. He heats bottles of water and puts into sleeping bag to help provide heat during winter night, but they obviously don't last. His bed frame work stays up all the time, so it also doubles as cargo area, like an extra huge shelf. You've got an intriguing idea, and even sounds like a good idea for starting a new business!! Good luck.
