My 3 year old, indoor only cat has tapeworms. We are baffled on how he got it. Of course, he is being treated for it, but since we have no clue how we got it, how do we prevent it from happening again?
There are absolutely NO fleas in our house. No other animals leave the house, and no other animals enter the house.
There are no rodents, etc around for our cat to eat.
In fact, our house is very clean, and there is never trash or spoiled food laying around.
How could my cat have gotten tapeworms?
