How did The Beatles' Music influence the birth of the Hippie subculture?

I'm doing a speech on a "cultural artifact" for my oral communications class. The artifact i chose was Beatles' Music on the Hippie culture. However I am having a hard time trying to get my thoughts altogether and researching everything since I keep finding really broad answers and only information on John Lennon. I know he played a bigger role than the rest but I'm trying to use their whole music in general and choose a song to print the lyrics to and use as a prop in class.

Can anyone help me?
