How do "celebrities"/movie stars/etc. get their "luck"?

What do you mean by luck? I recently spoke with actor Jason Segel and he said this:

"Those stars you see that seemingly make it HUGE over night....thats all fake. That is 10 years in the making. They are working their butts off day in and day out to achieve what they have. It isn't so much luck as it is your drive and passion to work hard"


They take acting classes, apply for a talent agent and then go to auditions. It is a lot of hard work and takes immense dedication to mastering your craft
