"Awake, awake, O Zion, clothe yourself with strength. Put on your garments of splendor, O Jerusalem, the holy city. The uncircumcised and defiled will not enter you again." (Isaiah 52:1)

Why it failed: There are uncircumcised people living in Jerusalem today.

"therefore I am against you and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt a ruin and a desolate waste from Migdol to Aswan, as far as the border of Cush. The foot of neither man nor beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years." (
Ezekiel 29:10-11)

Why it failed: Pretty self-explanatory, Egypt has never been uninhabited for 40 years

"I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom." (Matthew 16:28)

"I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." (Matthew 24:34)

Again, pretty self-explanatory.

1. These words of Isaiah also have a fulfillment on the Christian congregation. It doesn't refer to literal Jerusalem today. The congregation of anointed Christians can be described as the modern-day “daughter of Zion,” since “Jerusalem above” is their mother. Set free from pagan teachings and apostate doctrines, the anointed must maintain a clean standing before Jehovah, no, not by being circumcised in the flesh, but by being circumcised in their hearts. (Jeremiah 31:33; Romans 2:25-29) This includes maintaining spiritual, mental, and moral cleanness before Jehovah.—1*Corinthians 7:19; Ephesians 2:3.

2. After the destruction of Jerusalem in 607*B.C.E., the remnant of Judah fled to Egypt despite the prophet Jeremiah’s warning. (Jeremiah 24:1, 8-10; 42:7-22) That did not prove to be an escape for them because Nebuchadnezzar came up against Egypt and conquered it. The 40-year desolation of Egypt may have followed that conquest. While secular history provides no evidence of this desolation it doesn't mean that it didn't happen. If we have a close relationship with God then we can be confident that it took place because Jehovah God is the Fulfiller of prophecy.—Isaiah 55:11.

3. Some may feel that these words were not fulfilled because all of Jesus’ disciples who were present when he said those words died before the establishment of God’s Kingdom in the heavens. The Interpreter’s Bible even says of this verse: “The prediction was not fulfilled, and later Christians found it necessary to explain that it was metaphorical.”

However, the context of this verse, as well as that of the parallel accounts by Mark and Luke, helps us understand the real meaning of the scripture. What did Matthew relate right after the words quoted above? He wrote: “Six days later Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother along and brought them up into a lofty mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them.” (Matthew 17:1,*2) Both Mark and Luke also linked Jesus’ comment about the Kingdom with the account of the transfiguration. (Mark 9:1-8; Luke 9:27-36) Jesus’ coming in Kingdom power was demonstrated in his transfiguration, his appearing in glory in the presence of the three apostles. Peter verifies this understanding by speaking of “the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ” with regard to his witnessing Jesus’ transfiguration.—2*Peter 1:16-18.

There are no failed Bible prophecies. The Bible is the inerrant inspired word of God. You are not interpreting it correctly. Go to a Full Gospel church and get into a Bible study with a gifted teacher. That will help you if you listen well.

1. Circumspection is symbolic of Epraim(Israel) distinguished from the world. When Christ establishes his final kingdom, the ungodly will enter no more. your argument=fail.

2. Operative word: I "WILL" obviously hasn't happened yet.

3. A. Peter, James & John all saw a future vision of Christ's second coming before they died.
B. In the Greek: Generation=aeon(Age) After the prophecies culminate, the eschatology of Antichrist will usher in the new age. When the USA loses it's sovereignty completely & the NWO is set in place, wait 3 1/2 years, then try to falsify that prophecy.

the events in Revelation 20-22 haven't happened yet
(Matthew 16:28) it happened

(Matthew 24:34) that generation will see all of the events happen

Ezekiel 29:10-11)
this was the length of time between Nebuchadnezzar’s defeat of Pharaoh and Egypt’s later deliverance when Cyrus and the Persians conquered Babylon.

I'm not a biblical inerrantist. This is my honest opinion, I may be wrong, of course. First prophecy--I think it will happen. Talking about the 'new' Jerusalem.

Ezekiel. That does indeed look like a failed prophecy.

Matt. 16 The kingdom DID start after Jesus was resurrected. Matt 24: Generation here means homo sapiens. We really aren't different from the ancient Israelites. It'll happen.

Do not understand scripture or prophecies.

Isaiah 52:1 is future.

Matthew 16-28 speaks of the resurrection of the Jewish people (some to everlasting life and some to punishment) at the second coming of Christ as spoken to the prophet Daniel.
Daniel 12
9 He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

13 “As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

Matthew 24:34 speaks of a generation that sees the sign of the fig tree (Israel) budding which is 40 or 70 years. Since 1948, we have seen Israel become a nation again and in 1967 recapture Jerusalem. Now Iran wants nuclear weapons and Israel is ready to bomb Iran to keep from it going nuclear. Stay tuned.
