I am almost 13 weeks pregnant and ever since the morning sickness started I have become the laziest person ever. Before I was pretty lazy but only when I had nothing to do. I would rather stay at home and lay down and do nothing than get ready and go to the mall or anywhere else. I have been ditching my friends because of this. I am 18 years old and I think most of my problem is I am getting depressed but I dont know what to do!

I heard you can get extremly depressed due to the hormone changes. Does this sound like Im depressed?

Also the babies dad left me almost 2 weeks ago and keeps telling me to give it up for adoption because Im not ready for a baby yet.

How do I get this pregnancy to be less stressful! I feel like everything is falling apart in my life all at once!

Ok whoah, a little critical of yourself! Lazy? No, exhausted is more likely at this stage of pregnancy. Extra rest is called for. No one else can decide if YOU are ready for a baby. HE isn't, but does that mean you aren't? Your whole life is changing, it's normal to feel a little down but don't let it consume you. Your days of hanging at the mall may seem less important to you and that's OK. It's called growing up. Start reading up on pregnancy and parenthood and get ready for a whole new chapter in your life. Good luck.

it is actually quite normal for you to be feeling sick, tired and even lazy at this stage. Your baby is growing and developing rapidly and so it is taking a lot out of you and therefore you are going to require more rest and more sleep.

If you feel like you may be suffering from a bit of depression then you need to discuss this with your doctor.
