how do i build a dirt track for an nitro truck?

im about to buy an HPI nitro rc car and want to build a dirt track in my yard my pop said i can use this one area in the back its about 30x40 feet
i want it to be a figure 8 what should i think about before breaking ground

I use 6" black perforated pipe,i copied the idea from the local track i go to.And a shovel and wheel barrel,so you can make jumps and stuff,i have a T-MAXX it's fun,my track isn't as good as the professional one i go to,but i don't have to drive to mine.Use the pipes for borders.
