How do I calculate the iPhone 4s Rogers (canada) price?

There is a $50 rebate.

The phone is for 159 (I think it's the price with the rebate already applied so it would actually be 209-50=159)

There is a $35 activation fee (I'm not sure if that also gets taxed, they said it does)

And the taxes here is 15%
Apparently it would come to about $230?

I'm assuming you are interested in the 16GB model, which is in fact $649, with a $490 rebate if you are ELIGIBLE and if you sign a three year contract, making the cash price $159.

The REAL price of the phone is the cash price, minus rebate, plus taxes and activation ($223.10), PLUS the amount you are committing to pay under a three-year contract. Remember there will be stiff penalties if you cancel your service before the three years.
